Columbia Center for Justice Beyond the Bars Conference

Columbia Center for Justice's annual Beyond the Bars Conference is happening March 6-9, with this year's theme being Sankofa, meaning looking back to move forward. The Beyond the Bars Conference is an annual student-driven interdisciplinary conference on mass incarceration held at Columbia University. Each year the conference brings together students, faculty, activists, advocates, practitioners, those who have experienced and/or been impacted by incarceration, community members and more to connect, galvanize, and deepen the work of building justice and equity and ending mass incarceration.
WE are hosting our own workshop in collaboration with the Osborne Association on Saturday the 8th. Get your tickets to join us and learn about the importance of keeping families impacted by incarceration together - with the CARE Act, Protect In-Person Visiting bill, and more.
