 looking back to move forward. The Beyond the Bars Conference is an annual 
 student-driven interdisciplinary conference on mass incarceration held at 
 Columbia University.  Each year the conference brings together students\, 
 faculty\, activists\, advocates\, practitioners\, those who have experienc
 ed and/or been impacted by incarceration\, community members and more to c
 onnect\, galvanize\, and deepen the work of building justice and equity an
 d ending mass incarceration.\n\nWE are hosting our own workshop in collabo
 ration with the Osborne Association on Saturday the 8th. Get your tickets 
 to join us and learn about the importance of keeping families impacted by 
 incarceration together - with the CARE Act\, Protect In-Person Visiting bi
 ll\, and more.
