Global Prison Nursery Network Symposium
We'll be attending the Children Living with Their Mothers in Prison: Advocacy and Alternatives, the second annual Global Prison Nursery Network Symposium hosted by Children of Incarcerated Caregivers and the Columbia Journal of Gender and Law.
Our ED will be on the panel, "Parenting in Prison: A Conversation with Impacted Mothers" moderated by our dear friend Roslyn Smith of V-Day.
Together with directly-impacted people and experts in the field, we'll examine and discuss prison nurseries, including gaps in research and placement processes that fail to consider children’s best interests.
