Jail Programming Throughout the Riverhead, Yaphank and Nassau Jails
- Reentry Planning (Riverhead & Yaphank): The road home begins while incarcerated. We work with members to set personal goals and connect them to services that support a smooth and successful reentry.
- Conflict Management (Riverhead & Yaphank): Through peacemaking and mediation practices, participants learn to understand their emotions, identify triggers, manage conflict, and build healthier relationships.
- Art & Wellness / Creative Writing (Riverhead): In partnership with the Parrish Art Museum, members explore self-expression and healing through art. During the summer, the Art & Wellness program transitions into a Creative Writing series, offering another outlet for reflection and growth.
- Parenting Journey (Riverhead): Members strengthen their parenting skills through self-reflection, breaking unhealthy patterns, and learning how to maintain meaningful connections with their children while incarcerated.
- Mother Baby Bond (Yaphank): A supportive program for postpartum mothers and their babies in the Yaphank nursery, focused on nurturing attachment and exploring what parenting looks like behind bars.
- Know Your Rights (Nassau): Members gain valuable legal knowledge and learn their rights as incarcerated individuals.
