New Hour's Rising Star - Tiara Seymore

Tiara Seymore, a proud Brentwood native raised in a big Caribbean family, found healing and purpose through New Hour after witnessing and facing many of life’s challenges, including violence, incarceration, and lack of support. She began her journey with New Hour in the EMERGE program in 2022 and after that graduated from the EMERGE 2.0 Financial Wellness program. Tiara now serves as EMERGE’s Peer Leader and a dedicated advocate through the CARE and LISJAN coalitions. Passionate about uplifting others, she also gives back to her community as a mentor, minister-in-training, content creator, and mother of two, all while pursuing a career in nursing. Through New Hour, she found her voice, identity, and a sisterhood committed to change—and she’s determined to pass that power on to the next generation.
