Youth Justice Press Conference and Teach In
Join us for a Youth Justice Rally & Teach-In hosted by us on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 12pm-2pm. Lunch will be served and we will have community resources to share with those who attend.
We welcome you to participate in a press conference at 12:30pm, where young people and local leaders can share their vision for youth justice in New York, and offer their support for two pending pieces of legislation:
The Youth Justice & Opportunities Act (A. 5293 (AM Walker) / S. 4330 (Sen. Myrie))
The Right2RemainSilent: Children’s Early Access to Counsel bill (A. 2620 (AM Hevesi) / S. 878 Sen. Bailey)
